Glass Bottom Float, a floor installation in the back gallery, is a grouping of partially filled cylindrical glass bowls, some holding softball sized crystal balls, and all with round sky blue membranes floating in water. The lensing of light through water and glass creates a convergence of flash-points, reflecting a glimmer of rapture. By her manipulation of unlikely materials Cox continues to make light an almost palpable element.
